Tommy Smith rose 10 points last year, moving our school grade from a C to a B. Almost every single data point moved in the right direction, and that kind of growth doesn't happen by accident. It happens because teachers pushed, students showed up, and families partnered with us every step of the way. That's exactly why we're ready to level up.
Every Move Matters. Every Level Counts. That's our promise for how we're running the 2026-2027 school year. Growth happens in small moves: a student finally mastering a tricky skill, a teacher trying a new strategy and watching it click, a parent showing up to science night. Every one of those moves matters, and this year we're celebrating them out loud.
All year, you'll start seeing cubes show up around classrooms and hallways. Here's what they mean: our teachers earn a cube every time we see something great happening in their classroom, whether that's students taking ownership of their own learning, a lesson that has kids fully engaged, high expectations in action, strong grade-level content, or excellent instruction. Each color represents one of those wins. When you see cubes stacking up in a classroom, you're seeing proof that real learning is happening for your student, one great moment at a time.
We're proud of where we landed last year. We're even more excited about where this year is headed. It's time to LEVEL UP.
