What a year it has been for Tommy Smith Elementary.
As we close out the 2025-26 school year, we want to take a moment to celebrate what this community built together. TSE saw growth in nearly every measurable area, and we could not be more proud of our students, our staff, and the families who showed up with us every step of the way.
A few highlights worth celebrating:
Our 3rd grade team posted a 12-point increase in performance compared to last year, a jump that reflects real, sustained instructional work. Our 4th-grade students achieved more than 65% learning gains in ELA. And our 5th graders cleared 65% learning gains in both math and reading. That kind of across-the-board growth doesn't happen by accident. It happens because of dedicated teachers, engaged families, and students who put in the work.
Beyond the data, this was also a year of connection. Our community partners showed up in meaningful ways, spoiling our teachers, helping us build out the TSE Boutique, and making sure our staff felt seen and valued. Families came out for events like our Touch-a-Truck celebrating our students. That energy matters, and we felt it.
To our Panthers: students, families, staff, and partners, thank you for making this year one we will talk about for a long time. We are already looking forward to what comes next.
